Here are a few more "Fresh Faces" you should know about. A new clothing line founded by two New York Commons members merits your attention this week for the quality of the product and the charitable support the young company has provided to the Samuel Waxman Cancer Foundation.

Two former Ivy-League hockey players:
Ryan Vesce and Ben Wallace, 2004 graduates of Cornell University, are the founders of Salmon Cove. At the moment, the line consists of the Premier Shirt which is an updated version of the classic polo with the following distinction - a forced popped collar.

"We wanted to start a brand that represented who we are," said Vesce. "Both Ben and I feel that this brand is the embodiment of what it means to be successful while living an enjoyable life. By wearing the Salmon, it communicates that you actively pursue your dreams and have the confidence to swim against the current." Given the fan support these two received at Cornell from the Lynah Faithful it is no wonder they have the confidence to enter the highly competitive clothing field. Check out the line by clicking

We are also following their professional hockey careers: both played in the Tampa Bay Lightning system last year. Vesce, captain of the 2004 Cornell team, signed a contract this summer with the Ottawa Senators. Wallace played last year in the ECHL for the Johnstown Chiefs. Stay tuned for more news on Salmon Cove, Vesce and Wallace.
